Launched in Chennai, India on 17th September 2005, the iLEAD programme has expanded its footprint across the nation, establishing 351 centres in 22 states and 189 districts, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Assam to Rajasthan.

Over the past 19 years, iLEAD has reached more than 18,000 locations, with 65% of them in rural areas. This initiative has been supported by 50 partners from state and central governments, corporates, and civil society organizations, along with 375 dedicated trainers. Together, the programme has transformed the lives of more than 250,000 youth in India. In 2019, iLEAD achieved a significant milestone by empowering over 100,000 women.
