Education for Global Citizenship
The absence of schooling is very often a symptom of social exclusion. Poverty, ethnicity, disabilities… the reasons for the rejection of both children and their families are multifarious, but their consequences are identical: millions of children and youth are deprived of their right to education.
Providing these children an education that would enable them to become socially and economically integrated is a challenge to which Aide et Action International tries to respond through a dual mechanism: on the one hand, by developing appropriate educational systems and alternatives bearing their lifestyle in mind (alternative locations, literacy, vocational training, etc.) and, on the other hand, by enabling schools to adapt to their educational needs.
