Job Profile: We are looking for a suitable incumbent who is experienced in Programme Development, Monitoring & Evaluation for our Programme Development and Support Unit (PDSU). The PDSU unit plays a pivotal role in establishing and promoting AEA’s various initiatives across South Asia.

The position demands good understanding and hands-on experience of Programme Development, Monitoring & Evaluation to provide strategic support to the various initiatives of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinating/facilitating key activities: such as Annual Plan & Budgeting (for South Asia Region), identifying scope for new projects/selection of new projects/facilitating initiation of new projects at the field level. Developing, managing and institutionalizing robust and dynamic M&E systems & procedures/processes (especially Portfolio management and other databases)
  • Supporting/Facilitating statutory processes: such as Appraisals, Project Monitoring & Reviews. Ensuring timely compliance of statutory/strategic processes at the South Asia level for programme development and management.
  • Supporting Quality Enhancement initiatives: Support/facilitate/Organize / conduct orientation / training programs / workshops /meetings. Project Visits and providing handholding support for building capacities of the team, upscaling quality / effectiveness of projects.
  • Documentation: Developing quality documents/reports for shared learning, resource mobilization and other important requirements.
  • Donor Management & Resource Mobilisation: Developing Proposals & Reports, lead/facilitate research/capitalization studies.
  • Any other responsibility that may be assigned by the line manager.

Qualification & Competencies required: Individuals with a Post Graduate degree in relevant stream with minimum 2 years of experience in Programme Designing & Development, Monitoring & Evaluation (especially skilled in PRA), with appreciable documentation skills (especially in English), functional knowledge of Hindi (Verbal) and with the Zeal to travel extensively (across India, Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka) to provide strategic and capacity building support to AEAI-Sub-Regional Teams, Project Teams and Partner communities may apply.

Salary Range: Monthly compensation of around Rs.38,000 to Rs.46,000 per month (in line with the compensation guidelines of the organization)
