The incumbent would be a key member of the Communications Unit team and be responsible for the following:
Publications & Documentation – Support in the preparation of documentation/publications developed by the communication unit. Prepare various reports & newsletters for both internal and external stakeholders.
Enhancing program effectiveness: Support in strengthening communication strategy (Intra, Inter, Regional and International) and contributing to increased programme effectiveness.
Website & Social Media – Support in the management and updation of the website on a timely basis; Develop/Design regular Social Media posts, Manage Blog, Promote organizations activities/programmes by distributing success stories, photographs & films through various channels of communication
Event and Media – Engage in Image building exercises of the organization; Create visibility of the organization in the media and amongst other stake holders. Coordinate with Media for appropriate Coverage for AEAI –SA Programmes and events in the Media.
Brand building - Conceptualization, designing, planning, coordination and distribution of promotional material.
Support – Internal Stakeholders – Provide technical support to the regions and departments/units of AEA International - South Asia and ensure the compliance of AEA International Branding guidelines.
Education & experience: Post Graduate Degree in Mass communication or any other relevant domain with experience preferably in the development sector.
Skills Required: Domain knowledge and skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, excellent report writing and documentation Skills, familiarity with use of digital and other new social media, team Work, liasioning, innovation, Conceptual Knowledge and Skills; Ability to work in a diverse team and work in a diverse culture; Ability and willingness to travel as per work demands.
Salary Range: Monthly compensation of around Rs.29,000 to Rs.34,000 per month (in line with the compensation guidelines of the organization)
