Aide et Action International began its interventions in India in 1981. Over the years, it has evolved itself as an organisation. Today, Aide et Action International (AEAI) South Asia is working across 21 states in India.
With the help of 18 local level NGO partners, it runs 14 directly implemented projects on various issues of development, and 121 skills based training centres across the country for livelihood generation.
The programmes in India are managed through 7 regional offices located in Jaipur, Delhi, Patna, Guwahati, Bhopal, Hyderabad and Chennai. The South Asia Head quarter is based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
The South Asia regional offices are supported by the Finance, Migration information and Resource Centre (MiRC) and EduAction Units stationed in Chennai, Bhubaneshwar and Hyderabad respectively.
The Human Resources & Organizational Development unit team is stationed in Bangalore & Chennai while the Resource Mobilisation and Brand Building (RMBB) unit team is stationed in Sri Lanka, Chennai and Hyderabad.
