A Celebration of One Million Smiles
Jaipur: The Livelihood Education intervention – Initiative for Livelihood Education and Development (iLEAD) has completed 11 years and reached out to more than 200000 deprived youth. To celebrate this success and to say thanks to all those who stood by us, Aide et Action South Asia organized “ i11-11 Years of transforming 200000 Lives and A Celebration of One Million Smiles” on 31st January 2017 at Birla Auditorium, Jaipur, India.

Stakeholder consultation on Care, Learning & Healthy Environment for the Children of migrant workers in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: Aide et Action International (AEAI) organized a state-level “Stakeholders consultation on Care, Learning & Healthy Environment for the Children of migrant workers” on 29th November 2016 to share the experiences and learnings with the government, construction owners, civil society etc. During this consultation meet, a wide variety of issues pertaining nutrition, well being of migrant children and their rights, access to education and protection were discussed.

Brand Solutions workshop in Sri Lanka
Aide et Action as part of commitment towards developing high quality resources of International caliber is organizing, ‘Brand Solutions Workshop’ that helps middle and senior managers of advertising agencies or marketing organisations focused on brand, marketing and brand development. It is with the belief that in future such qualified and sensitive human resources would become role models and mentors to many other youth who are being trained under our skills development program under iLEAD.

My Gakidh Village launches Eco-tourism trail in Bhutan
Dr Aishwarya Mahajan, Regional Head, Livelihood Education- South Asia walked along the ancient trail of the 14th century saint, Choeji Drukpa Kunley of Bhutan with Her Majesty Gyalyum Tshering Pem Wangchuck and Her Royal Highness Princess Chimi Yangzom Wangchuck on the route which takes four hours to walk and connects 21 villages of Toep Gewog in Goemkha, Begana, Thinleygang, Renakha and Menchuna Chiwogs of Punakha Dzonkhag of our project My Gakidh Village in Bhutan. Nation through the eyes of artists
COLOMBO – 27th May 2016: Aide et Action, an international not-for-profit organization, will organize a unique exhibition, “Monumental Connect and Many Other Shades of Connect”, featuring famous water-color artist of Sri Lanka, Mr. Royden O. Gibbs and a photo-exhibition of a young Indian artist Ms Anavi Singh, at Lionel Wendt Art Gallery, Colombo from 28th May to 30th May 2016.

Siksha Samvad Yatra
This summer, nearly 5000 children in Baihar block utilized their vacation for participating in a massive rally to create awareness among the communities in 73 villages located in the buffer zone of Kanha on the importance of environment conservation and preserving ecological balance.
To establish a constructive communication among various stake holders including parents, children, government, panchayat raj members in enhancing the quality education of the children in Kanha buffer zone, Bhopal Regional Office in association with Ecological Ensuring Quality Education with Ecological Sensitization project team held “Shiksha Samvaad Yatra”, a ten day rally advocating the cause of conservation of forests and ecological education from May 21.
